The Korean webtoon adaptation chasing the Solo Leveling audience — India streaming, dub status, and why it’s worth your watchlist.
Premiered: September 27, 2026 — new episodes weekly.
Watch in India: Crunchyroll exclusive (outside Japan/Korea).
Hindi dub: planned (Hindi/Tamil/Telugu) — dates not announced yet.
Vibe: Solo Leveling meets crafting/building fantasy.
Overgeared adapts the hit Korean web novel/webtoon about Shin Youngwoo — a broke, unlucky gamer who stumbles into a legendary blacksmith class in a VR game world and claws his way to the top. If Solo Leveling is about becoming the strongest fighter, Overgeared is about becoming the most overpowered creator — legendary items, kingdom-building, and an underdog you can’t help rooting for.
Crunchyroll — Overgeared is a Crunchyroll exclusive outside Japan and Korea, streaming with new episodes weekly from September 27. Plans in India start affordably (annual plans from ₹469/year as last reported — check current pricing in-app).
Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubs are planned for Overgeared as part of Crunchyroll’s fall slate — but release dates haven’t been announced. Right now it streams with subtitles (English and more). Status: ⏳ Dub planned, date TBA
India’s Solo Leveling fandom is enormous — and Overgeared is the most direct answer to “what do I watch while waiting for Season 3?” (which, heads up, isn’t coming in 2026). Same Korean power-fantasy DNA, same weekly dopamine hits, but with a crafting/kingdom twist that keeps it fresh. It’s the easiest recommendation we’ll make all season.
New episodes every Saturday on Crunchyroll (from September 27, 2026). Exact India timings follow Crunchyroll’s simulcast slot — check the app on premiere day.
