Reze Arc movie: streaming on Crunchyroll + Sony LIV (since 30 Apr 2026); rent on Prime Video, BookMyShow Stream, YouTube Movies. Not on Netflix.

Chainsaw Man's first season — 12 episodes, animated by MAPPA, aired October–December 2022 (Animehunch) — is one of the most accessible big anime titles in India. Here's every legal option, verified on JustWatch India (checked 5 October 2026):
| Platform | Cost | Audio | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amazon MX Player | Free with ads | Hindi + Japanese | All 12 episodes — the free legal option |
| Crunchyroll | Paid (from ₹79/month) | Sub + Hindi dub | Hindi dub since 29 Jul 2023 |
| Netflix | Subscription | Audio options unverified | Series confirmed on Netflix India |
| Sony LIV | Subscription | Title page not directly verified | Listed on JustWatch India |
| Prime Video | Free-with-ads tier | Varies | Also via Crunchyroll / Anime Times add-on channels |
The standout: MX Player streams all 12 episodes free with ads in both Hindi and Japanese (Times Now, 29 Dec 2025). Note that Crunchyroll's own free ad-supported tier ended on 31 December 2025 — Crunchyroll now needs a paid plan (Outlook Respawn).
Chainsaw Man is unusually well-served in Hindi. The Season 1 Hindi dub launched on Crunchyroll on 29 July 2023 (8am IST), with Lohit Sharma as Denji, Saudamini Anjaria as Makima, Himanshu Rana as Aki, Ayushi as Power and Yash Pawar as Pochita (Animehunch). The same dub is on MX Player for free. The Reze Arc movie also got a Hindi dub for its Indian theatrical run (announced 15 September 2025), and its Prime Video India rental includes Hindi audio (PinkVilla, 10 Dec 2025).
One honesty flag: Crunchyroll announced its 30 April 2026 streaming release of the movie only as "subtitled and dubbed formats" without naming languages (Anime News Network) — so we can't confirm Hindi on Crunchyroll streaming specifically. Hindi is confirmed for theaters and rental.
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is a direct sequel to Season 1 — the "Bomb Girl" (Reze) arc, directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara at MAPPA, with "IRIS OUT" by Kenshi Yonezu as the theme song (The Hindu). Runtime: 1h 42m, rated A (BookMyShow). Current India status, per JustWatch India (checked 6 October 2026):

Two clarifications: the film is not on Netflix India (Firstpost, 8 Dec 2025), and if you see older articles claiming it hit Crunchyroll streaming in December 2025 — that's an error in those pieces; Crunchyroll's own announcement dates the streaming release to 30 April 2026 (ANN).
Watch the 12-episode Season 1 first — the film continues Denji's story directly and assumes you know the characters. Start free on MX Player (Hindi or Japanese, your pick), then move to the movie on Crunchyroll or Sony LIV. Official international movie site: chainsawman.movie.
Free with ads on Amazon MX Player (all 12 episodes, Hindi + Japanese). Paid options: Crunchyroll, Netflix, Sony LIV, and the Crunchyroll/Anime Times Amazon Channel add-ons on Prime Video.
